Developing Different Kinds of Minds: Science and Neurodiversity

March 24, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Dr. Temple Grandin, a world-renowned researcher who became a leading advocate for people with autism, is scheduled to speak March 24 in Hamilton on “Developing Different Kinds of Minds.” In her career, Dr. Grandin has shown how thinking differently gave her new insights that helped revolutionize the cattle industry. The presentation will explore how to support people who learn through different approaches, such as visual versus auditory learners. Her talk follows the popularity of a statewide online discussion that took place in Montana last May, sponsored by the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility Committee at Rocky Mountain Laboratories (RML).
